Well.. this was it. The day I've been waiting for since July. My final chemo.

As I wrote in the previous "chemo diaries" post, the 11th and penultimate chemo fell on a day after Thanksgiving. To be honest, I was kind of afraid how it was all going to pan out. I've mentioned in an earlier post that the schedule for the Pere Marquette train (which connects Michigan cities along the lake) is pretty inconvenient if you're trying take it from Chicago. It leaves Chicago in the evening and doesn't come back until next morning. Unless you fancy exploring cities at night, it's not a good way to explore the ( Read more... )

Last week, I had a regular check up with my cancer doctor (there's an actual proper title for it, but that's what she basically is). I told her about what I've dubbed "the phantom vomits." This morning, I went to Cook County Hospital for a regular check-up with my lymphoma doctor - just a regular event to make sure the treatement is going the way it's supposed to and that there aren't any complications.
